1. Humanely off the crabs, (if you don’t want them moving, place them in the freezer first).🫠 2. Remove shell, cut legs to expose meat, cut in half, and remove gills/tail/mouth. 3. Drench in sake and let sit in the fridge until you make the marinade. 4. Add sliced apples, onion, kelp, peppers, ginger, garlic, bay leaves, rice syrup, soy sauce, and water to a big pot. 5. Boil for about 20 minutes, then let cool completely and strain. 6. Pour marinade over crabs and let sit for 10-24 hours before eating.
